We are thrilled to announce that Laura Bitomsky will join the HSG School of Medicine (Prof. Dr. Tobias Kowatsch) as an external doctorate candidate. As a PhD student at HSG, Laura will investigate how to advance health equity when developing digital therapeutics.

Laura has a strong passion for digital health and healthcare innovations and driven by the desire to positively impact our healthcare system and to ultimately improve patient outcomes by leveraging new technologies. She holds a master’s degree with honors from Technical University Munich in business informatics. In addition, Laura has two years of practical experience with McKinsey & Company, where she predominantly focused on driving the digitalization of the healthcare sector in Germany, which has provided her with a unique perspective that will undoubtedly contribute significantly to her research.
