Welcome to our visiting researcher Katharina Pflügner

We are delighted to welcome Katharina Pflügner as a visiting researcher at the Center for Digital Health Interventions in Zurich, Switzerland. Katharina Pflügner holds a master’s degree in Psychology and is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Information Systems and Services at the University of Bamberg, Germany. Her research interest focuses on the bright and dark side of IT for mental health with a focus on stress prevention and reduction. In light of the bright side, she investigates self-guided digital stress interventions from a user perspective to improve user satisfaction and acceptance. In light of the dark side, she studies mitigation strategies for technostress (stress induced by the use of IT) at the workplace that can be grounded in the user (e.g. mindfulness), the organization (e.g. leadership), or the technology (e.g. email ticket system).
