We are delighted to welcome Donya Rooein as a visiting researcher at the Center for Digital Health Interventions in Zurich, Switzerland. Donya Rooein holds a master’s degree in Health Information Technology Engineering. She is doing a joint industrial Ph.D. program in Information Technology at the Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering at the University of Politecnico di Milano, Italy, with EIT Digital (European Institute of Innovation and Technology) and IBM Italy.

Her research interest focuses on Data-Driven Chatbots for education.  Her work devises methods for improving the quality and effectiveness of the technologies for developing chatbots. The specific focus of her research is on modeling the situation of training with multi actors interventions and developing personalised experiences with chatbots by using Conversational AI.
