Welcome to our new PhD candidate Jinjoo Shim!
Please welcome Jinjoo Shim as our newest Ph.D. student and doctoral researcher to join the Centre for Digital Health Interventions in Zurich, Switzerland. Jinjoo is part of the Core AI & Digital Biomarker, Acoustic and Inflammatory Biomarkers. Jinjoo holds a bachelor’s degree in International Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a master’s degree in Biostatistics from Columbia University in the City of New York. Previously, Jinjoo worked as a data scientist and biostatistician at the Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. Jinjoo gained further experience at a health economics consulting firm, and at F. Hoffmann-La Roche, where she collaborated in clinical and non-clinical research projects. Jinjoo has expertise in examining complex factors including cost-effectiveness, quality of care, patient outcomes, drug utilization and regulatory guidelines using various real world data.
