Tobias Kowatsch is appointed Associate Professor for Digital Health Interventions at the University of Zurich!

Great news: Our Scientific Director Tobias Kowatsch has been appointed Associate Professor for Digital Health Interventions at the University of Zurich (UZH)!

Tobias will start his new position at the medical faculty of the University of Zurich on 1 August 2022. This bridge professorship is offered by the University of Zurich and the University of St.Gallen in the context of their joint Medical Master programme, which was established in 2020. Tobias will be working at the Institute for Implementation Science in Health Care of UZH but will be based at the University of St.Gallen.

In addition to his new professorship, Tobias will be joining the board of directors of the University of St.Gallen’s School of Medicine.

Tobias will keep his affiliation with ETH Zürich in order to continue overseeing two large research projects, NIH SweetGoals in partnership with Dartmouth College and Future Health Technologies’s Mobile Health Interventions, co-funded by ETH Zurich and Singapore’s National Research Foundation and in partnership with Nanyang Technological University and the National University of Singapore. Tobias will also remain the Scientific Director of the Centre for Digital Health Interventions.
