The second cohort of the CAS ETH in Digital Health kicks off their Digital Health training!

We are excited to announce that the second cohort of our digital health training programme “CAS ETH in Digital Health” have kicked off their digital health training. From 7 to 8 February 2023, we met the 20 participants at the Seminarhotel Lihn in beautiful Glarus. Over the course of two days, the participants actively took part in lectures and group work, gaining a first understanding of the context of digital health interventions for non-communicable diseases.

In addition to teaching, participants were able to spend time together, as well as to meet with participants of the first cohort. As with the first cohort, this is a highly diverse set of professionals, represeneting fields including medicine and healthcare, medtech, consulting, research, and pharma.

We are pleased to be able to offer the programme to a larger cohort. The programme has a strong focus on project work, technical deep-dives, and coaching appointments. Based on positive feedback from the first cohort, we continue to have the vision of connecting fields who are invested in digital health innovations. This applied and multidisciplinary approach to digital health training sets our programme apart from other more theoretical programmes.

Our teaching team includes Prof. Elgar Fleisch, Prof. Florian von Wangenheim, Prof. Tobias Kowatsch, Dr. Marcia Nißen and Marc-Robin Grüner. The Software Engineers Fabian Schneider and Prabhakaran Santhanam are responsible for technical support. In this next year, four participants are completing the MAS ETH in digital Clinical Research and we are working closely with their teaching and management team to coordinate teaching times and content.
