SWITCH – Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology, 7 to 11 December 2020
The Centre for Digital Health Interventions has an exhibition booth at this year’s virtual SWITCH conference in Singapore!
From 7 to 11 December 2020, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the SEC’s Future Health Technologies programmes on Preventing Type 2 Diabetes and on Preventing Depression. Senior Scientist Jacqueline Mair and Postdoctoral Researcher Alicia Salamanca Sanabria will be sharing their plans for the research they will be conducting over the next five years and explaining the aims of the two projects.
Additional research projects by the CDHI will be used to showcase some of the features offered by the MobileCoach platform in designing digital health interventions. First, the Breeze application highlights how gamification and digital biomarkers can be used to improve health outcomes. PhD candidate Yanick Lukic will be offering a demo of this fun app. Second, a promotional video of the Elena+ research project and app will provide in-depth insight into how the CDHI research team responded to the COVID-19 pandemic. PhD candidate Joseph Ollier and colleagues developed an app aimed at supporting individuals by providing public health information and lifestyle support through a conversational agent.
