This year’s HackZurich 2021 – Europe’s biggest hackathon – is over and the ETH / CSS challenge could score a large success! Our Executive Director Dr. Theresa Schachner presented and led the shared ETH / CSS challenge “Stay comfy and get healthy” and could attract a broad variety of diverse and creative project submissions. They were tackling the idea of conveying health care interventions via digital means in people’s comfort zones and came up with a range of solutions spanning from relaxing oranges during video clip browsing over open-world breathing games to integrated breathing exercises before work calls.

We thank all participants of our challenge and are already looking forward to next year’s hackathon!
