START Summit x Hack 2024: A little Recap

The buzz of creativity and collaboration filled the air at the recent START Summit x Hack 2024, leaving an indelible mark on our team at the Centre for Digital Health Interventions. This electrifying event proved to be an absolute highlight for us in two significant ways, underscoring the power of innovation and partnership in the digital health landscape.

At START Hack, 18 teams of highly motivated hackers took on our challenge presented in collaboration with the University of St. Gallen. Led by our doctoral student, Nicolas Hesse, the challenge revolved around the intriguing question: “How to make food tracking attractive?”. Learn more about the case in the following video.

In addition to the invigorating hackathon experience, we seized the opportunity to showcase our endeavors at the Summit itself, alongside the esteemed team of St.Gallen Health. It was a delight to engage with visitors, exchanging insights and forging meaningful connections. We take pride in our partnership with this esteemed initiative.

A heartfelt thank you to all who participated in the hackathon or visited our booth to, for instance, try out ALEX, our Digital Physio Coach.
