Tobias Kowatsch was invited to join and contribute to the Summer School “Towards a Continuum of Robot-assisted Therapy” (TCRT) with his research on Computers are Social Actors.

The TCRT Summer School takes place in Clinica Hildebrand Centro di riabilitazione Brissago, Brissago, Ticino, Switzerland. Clinica Hildebrand is a top rehabilitation clinic and aims to promote collaboration between clinicians, health scientists, and engineers. During the week, participants will have the opportunity to interact with experts in the field and with patients in the clinic (case studies).

Topics discussed were:

1. Assistive technologies to support activities of daily living
2. Physiological processes related to rehabilitation
3. Assistive technologies to support therapy in an unsupervised setting
4. Increasing motivation to train at home and in other unsupervised settings
