Let’s check in with our continuing education course in Digital Health!

Back in March, we shared the exciting news of the launch of our continuing education course CAS ETH in Digital Health. You can read the article here.

How have participants engaged with this new course since? We’re pleased to share that all participants have passed module 2 and are now at the halfway mark. In June, participants took part in an in-person workshop in the Swiss mountains. The four groups presented the results from the first group project, which was followed by a stimulating discussion about effective digital health solutions. Participants were also treated to a teaser of module 3 and received instructions on how to begin a data collection protocol over the summer.

Besides concluding a productive module that saw very high engagement during teaching and coaching sessions, this break also allowed us to get to know each other better and to enjoy good food and beautiful mountain views. We are pleased to report that we have received very positive feedback about the module, as well as some great suggestions which we will be integrating into next year’s course.

In August, participants will move into module 3, which will be centred around digital biomarkers and sensing technologies. Participants will work with a wearable, as well as with specialised platforms to learn skills in data analysis. This will give them an understanding of the context of working with and utilising personal health data.

Our next cohort starts on 7 February 2023 and runs for 12 months part-time and predominantly online. The application window runs from 1 August to 30 October 2022.
