New Publication: LvL UP, a digital preventive care intervention for non-communicable diseases and common mental disorders

LvL UP 1.0 is a smartphone-based lifestyle intervention designed to prevent non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and common mental disorders (CMDs).

The newly published paper outlines the multidisciplinary team-led intervention design process. It outlines the intervention components, including health literacy and psychoeducational coaching sessions, daily “Life Hacks,” breathing exercises, and journaling. The development process was guided by the Multiphase Optimization Strategy and the UK Medical Research Council framework. The intervention is evidence-based and user-informed, with further refinement and testing planned.
