From 9 to 23 August 2023, Prof. Dr. Tobias Kowatsch visited Singapore-ETH Centre‘s Future Health Technologies team in Singapore to kick off the doctoral theses on digital biomarkers for subclinical depression and predicting states of receptivity in mobile health interventions. The PhD students working on these highly relevant topics are Akshaye Shenoi and Samarth Negi. Dr. Kowatsch also met with various health and clinical stakeholders to disseminate FHT’s digital lifestyle app LvL UP.

This included guest lectures on digital therapeutics for healthy longevity at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and a visit to the CHI – Centre for Healthcare Innovation, with exchanges with many healthcare professionals and policymakers. The visit also included a discussion on AI in Medicine with the dean of the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Professor Joseph Sung.
