About the Lecture

The convergence of digital health technologies with the surge in chronic diseases and the inefficiencies in healthcare systems has set the stage for a transformation in the patient experience, both in the present and the future. This evolution centers on making prevention and health literacy universally accessible and user-friendly. This talk will focus on the execution of an “ambidextrous” strategy, with the exploratory arm, “Mavie,” venturing into the healthcare sphere. We will touch upon the journey of UNIQA Insurance Group to transform from a conventional insurance company into the “caring industry”. Further, we will talk about the challenges in strategy implementation, as well as specific trends and “investable themes” Mavie is venturing in. Additionally, we will talk about the “stay healthy” and the “get healthy” meta-customer journeys and look into specific services Mavie built and acquired over time. Attendees will gain insights into current cutting-edge HealthTech Companies that are shaping the landscape of Mavie’s work and the future of healthcare.
