About the Lecture

The Center for Technology and Behavioral Health (CTBH) is an NIH-funded center of excellence at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, USA.  The CTBH team shares a goal of harnessing existing and emerging technologies to effectively develop and deliver evidence-based interventions for substance use and co-occurring disorders.  In the first part of this talk, I will present an overview of CTBH and an update on its recently approved five-year plan and renewal funding.  In the second part of this talk, I will describe two ongoing research projects; in the first, a wearable device for the detection of eating-related behavior in free-living conditions (Auracle); in the second, a study of methods for developing digital phenotypes of persons undergoing treatment for opioid-use disorder (DTECT), with the aim of predicting when a patient may relapse or drop out of their treatment plan.
