About Aurelian Briner

Aurelian is the CEO of the digital health company SNAQ. Their award-winning app supports people with diabetes to monitor their glucose levels by snapping a photo of their food and providing information on the nutritional values.

Before SNAQ, Aurelian drove the strategy, development and roll-out of various software products. Besides his product management experience, Aurelian is knowledgeable in the the realms of Mobile, Machine Learning, Computer Vision and IoT topics. To date, Aurelian successfully led the introduction of four products from idea to production. He is eager to learn and gets things done in a fast-paced environment. Aurelian holds degrees in Business Administration as well as in Accounting and Finance.

About the Lecture

After a brief introduction of SNAQ, Aurelian will be sharing some of the challenges and learnings from building a digital health startup out of Switzerland. The talk will contain topics such as launching a start-up in the US, regulatory questions, scaling the user base and monetization. We intend to make this a hands-on talk with room for your questions.
