Last Tuesday marked a milestone for the School of Medicine at the University of St. Gallen (MED-School) as it hosted its inaugural two-day MED-HSG Research Seminar. The event brought together the research teams of the four Professors of the School — Prof. Dr. Alexander Geissler, Prof. Dr. Janna Hastings, Prof. Dr. Anna Elsner and Prof. Dr. Tobias Kowatsch, who is the Scientific Director of our Centre. Against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Constance, the seminar unfolded at the picturesque Hotel Schloss Wartegg, providing an inspiring setting for the exchange of current research projects.

The MED-HSG Research Seminar served as a platform for PhD students to showcase their research. With a focus on fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, the event encouraged participants to present their work and receive valuable feedback from their peers, postdoctoral researchers and professors. The synergy of minds from diverse backgrounds and expertise was evident throughout the two days, creating an environment conducive to innovation.
