Welcome to Estelle Pfitzer predicting success of companies with healthtech growth equity investor MTIP
The Centre for Digital Health Interventions and MTIP share a common goal of transforming global healthcare and enhancing the well-being of individuals. To this end, we are thrilled to announce that Estelle Pfitzer will be involved in a collaborative project between MTIP (Dr. Christoph Kausch), a leading Swiss-based growth equity firm, and the HSG School of Medicine (Prof. Dr. Tobias Kowatsch). As a PhD student at HSG, Estelle will investigate success factors of growth-stage digital health startups.
Estelle has a strong passion for medical innovations and is driven by the desire to impact our healthcare system positively. She holds degrees from both EPFL and ETH Zurich, where she studied Life Science Engineering and Medical Technologies with a particular focus on digital health and computational biology. During her Master’s thesis at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Pediatric Oncology of DFCI, she deepened her knowledge of the computational oncology field. Estelle is no stranger at MTIP: she pursued an internship back in 2022, where she successfully combined her scientific background with her strong entrepreneurial drive.
