Call for Master’s thesis: Go-to-market strategy for a digital health tool to stop lung diseases from spreading
Infectious lung diseases like Covid-19 place an enormous burden on society. They can lead to hospitalizations and even death, which can strain the healthcare system. Besides the medical effects, they lead to significant productivity losses for companies if their employees cannot work. Digital health technology can be used to detect the first signs of infectious respiratory disease on company premises. In this way, companies can take preventive measures to protect the health of their employees and thus reduce their costs for sickness-related absenteeism and increase their productivity. In this master thesis, the student is expected to identify and validate a beachhead market for the abovementioned solution. As infectious lung diseases affect virtually every industry and office in the world, the challenge of this work is to derive an ideal target customer segment for this solution from the almost unlimited amount of promising options.
Suggested methods to identify and validate the target customer segment(s) are interviews with experts and potential target customers, as well as state-of-the-art business analytics tools, to which the student will get access.
