Join us at the 5th International Conference on Medical Education Informatics (MEI 2024) in Thessaloniki, Greece, 10-11 June, 2024. This year, the conference theme focuses on Empowering Health Education: Digital Transformation Frontiers for all. We will present two of our ongoing projects related to (1) digital resilience interventions for medical students in generative AI-based spatial computing environments and (2) how to scale up medical education with recent technological advancements, such as generative AI and spatial computing:

Dr. des Anja Bischof, Helen Galliker, KD Dr. med. Simone Kraehenmann MME, Dr. med. Telemachos Hatziisaak, Prof. Dr. Janna Hastings, and Prof. Dr. Tobias Kowatsch are working closely on these two projects with substantial support from additional members and lecturers of the Cantonal Hospital of St.Gallen and School of Medicine at the University of St.Gallen and the Institute for Implementation Science for Health Care, University of Zurich. The projects will be presented by Prof. Dr. Tobias Kowatsch on Monday and Tuesday at the conference.
MEI 2024 will take place from Monday, 10th to Tuesday, 11th of June 2024, on the premises of the Dissemination Centre of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (KEDEA building), Greece. The conference comprises several keynote and invited lectures, panels, and short oral and poster presentations. Keynote speakers, invited experts, dedicated panels, workshops, and symposia will focus on key issues in research and practice. The program will be complemented by poster presentations, providing a unique opportunity for interaction and debate around all conference themes. Conference participants will benefit from the co-located satellite events and project meetings scheduled in parallel.
