A warm welcome to our new PRECIOUS team member Aymane Hachcham

The Centre for Digital Health Interventions (CDHI) is pleased to welcome Aymane Hachcham, an NLP Research Engineer at the University of Zurich (UZH). At UZH, he previously developed AI methods to extract and model financial and policy evidence from unstructured and heterogeneous documents for climate and sustainable finance. His work focuses on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-step reasoning, and robust information-extraction pipelines that transform text, tables, and figures into structured, auditable data for downstream analytics and decision-making.  He now joins the Institute for Implementation Science in Healthcare, as a software engineer on the PRECIOUS project.

Before joining UZH, Aymane worked across industry including Pangea Bio, Bosch, and Amazon on LLM-driven data-mining platforms, federated learning infrastructure, and large-scale predictive analytics.

Welcome Aymene!
