A warm welcome to Alexandre de Montleau

We are very happy to welcome Alexandre de Montleau as our new Research Assistant at the Institute for Implementation Science in Health CareAlexandre will be working on our recently funded project, PRECIOUS, a cloud-based software tool that enables clinicians and researchers to design, evaluate, and implement Precision Digital Therapeutics. He holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Science in Robotics from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

Alexandre completed his master’s thesis in digital health research at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital. He developed machine learning models to classify sleep stages using multisensory wearable data from pediatric patients with narcolepsy, helping to advance non-invasive, scalable, and data-driven approaches to sleep diagnostics. His work was recognized when he was selected to present his project at the Johns Hopkins Sleep & Circadian Research Day, where he received the award for Best Clinical Science Oral Presentation.

In addition to his clinical research activities, Alexandre is also a public speaker on emerging technologies. He has delivered multiple conferences across Switzerland on a range of scientific topics, from medical technologies to biomimicry and space sciences. Feel free to contact him if public health innovation, technology-driven care or science communication are topics you’re exploring. He’s always eager to exchange ideas and collaborate.
