Dr Oscar Castro (postdoctoral researcher at CDHI, Singapore-ETH Centre) completed a visit to Switzerland from 16-20 December, which involved meetings and presentations across Bern, Zurich, Lausanne, and St Gallen.

16 December

Oscar visited the University of Bern’s Health Psychology and Behavioural Medicine department, led by Professor Jennifer Inauen. He presented the development and evaluation of the mHealth intervention LvL UP as part of their Brown Bag series.

17 December

Oscar met in Zurich with his academic supervisor, Prof Florian von Wangenheim from ETH Zurich. He also met Dr Timon Elmer, a postdoctoral researcher in Prof Urte Scholz’s lab (University of Zurich), who leads an SNSF-funded project to study smartphone-based social support interventions for people with depressive symptoms.

18 December

Oscar met Dr. Domicele Jonauskaite, a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Psychology, University of Lausanne.

19 December

Oscar met with Prof Tobias Kowatsch in St Gallen to prepare the upcoming Precision Digital Therapeutics Master Class in Singapore.
