Welcome to Ekaterina Uetova from Technological University Dublin
We are pleased to welcome Ekaterina Uetova as a visiting fellow. Ekaterina earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Linguistics from the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), along with supplementary training in Data Science and Psychology. Her research spans psychology, cognitive linguistics, and computational linguistics, focusing on topics such as language acquisition and comprehension, emotion perception and regulation, and sentiment and syntax analysis.
Ekaterina’s professional background includes roles as a Natural Language Processing developer at Nlogic, an E-learning developer and UX researcher at Eduson, and a Full Stack developer intern and computational linguist at the University of Cote d’Azur. She has also held multiple academic research assistant positions at HSE and Stanford University. She is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Technological University Dublin, where her research focuses on developing a conversational agent for online health-related peer support groups.
Ekaterina will support us with GRACE, a Voice Assistant for People with Early Dementia.
