Many thanks to Wasu Mekniran and Professors Elgar Fleisch, Felix Wortmann, Verena Tiefenbeck and Thorsten Staake for the organization of last week’s doctoral seminar.

Doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers from the Bosch Lab, Bits 2 Energy Lab, CDHI, Agentic Systems Lab, and the Institute for Media and Communications (HSG), presented and discussed their ongoing research activities. Surrounded by imposing mountains and inspired by climbers navigating an ice climbing wall outside of the seminar’s window, the team took three days out of their week to learn about the work of others, connect with each other, and collect critical feedback on their own work. After the thought-provoking discussion, we took in the views with a hike through the mountains and finally wrapped up the seminar with a go-karting session.
